Celebration of the 20th anniversary of the entry into the EU by the successful pilot FOODRUS

On May 1, 2024, we commemorate the 20th anniversary of the largest expansion of the European Union from the then 15 member states by 10 new members to 25.

On May 1, 2024, we commemorate the 20th anniversary of the largest expansion of the European Union from the then 15 member states by 10 new members to 25.

We entered the EU together with the Czech Republic, Estonia, Cyprus, Lithuania, Latvia, Hungary, Malta, Poland and Slovenia.

A joint research space was also opened in 1898, where we successfully established ourselves.

We greatly appreciate that the European Research Executive Agency has chosen our pilot for Slovakia as part of the FOODRUS research and innovation project and in its final stage to celebrate this anniversary.

Although we are closing the planned doors of FOODRUS on 30.4.2024, we are opening the doors of the new Innovation Center for the Prevention of Food Waste, which will be ceremonially inaugurated shortly.
